As an Alcoholic myself I believe shy people but outgoing are at the biggest risk of devoloping Alcoholism. In my case, ever since I started drinking (at the age of 16, 25 now) I never really stopped it myself unless I get sick or passed out. Because Alcohol is a coping mechanism for me in order to eliminate social discomforts. Others are people with a history of Alcoholism in their family, Depressed people and lonely people who live alone.
