    Weight management is important for ageing well as being overweight or obese can put you at an increased risk of many chronic conditions such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, as well as placing your joints under increased stress and putting you at a higher chance of osteoarthritis in the main weight bearing joints.

    Studies have shown that even the small increases in weight that people often have over time, especially in winter can turn into bigger health problems as we age if weight isn't consciously managed through regular exercise and health eating habits.
