    There are a lot of factors that are involved in answering this question.

    Important issues are:-
    1. Do you have private health insurance
    2. How much liposuction (or time) is involved in your operation
    3. Which hospital will you be in
    4. How long will you stay after the operation (especially if your insurance is not covering your hospital stay)
    5. Cost of your surgeon, assistant and anaesthetist
    6. If your post operative visits are to the surgeon or his nurse (as that will impact on the surgeon's fee)
    7. Which city you are in, and whereabouts within the city - costs of running a practice differ significantly  in different geographical locations

    For a good quality operation with good after care, you should expect to pay around $7-$8000 out of pocket if you have good health insurance
