Pancreatic cancer can be difficult to detect early because symptoms are often vague. Warning signs may include unexplained weight loss, new-onset back or abdominal pain, painless jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), new-onset diabetes or a sudden change in diabetic control, and changes in bowel habit. If you experience any of these symptoms, prompt investigation is important.
