    It is definitely advised to get a flu vaccine every year to prevent the flu. However, if you do still get a flu virus, seeing your doctor and following medical advice, can ensure that you make a quick recovery.

    Apart from getting the flu vaccine, other ways to prevent the spread of flu is to always wash your hands regularly with soap and water, cover your coughs and sneezes, throw your used tissues in a bin, avoid sharing cutlery, plates, cups etc., and stay at home if you feel unwell.
