The peak time for catching the flu is in the colder months of the year, that is April to October, but you can catch it any time of the year.

Getting vaccinated around mid-April is the ideal time as it takes 2-3 weeks to develop immunity after your flu shot and the best protection occurs in the 3-4 months after being vaccinated.
