    Clitoris infection for 5 months

I have had some sort of infection on my clitoris for about 5 months now. My clitoris gets bright red and swollen and it hurts, and this fluctuates during my menstrual cycle. The week before my period it all looks normal even though I can still feel it is very sensitive and on the 3rd day of my period it gets bright red, swollen and with some ulcers sometimes. It gradually decreases until my next period. I have no discharge. I only use tampons during my period.

I have used anti-fungal creams and a cortisone cream for 2 months (which only suppressed the symptoms but came back twice as bad as soon as I stopped). I have taken itraconazole for about 5 weeks with no difference. I have seen several GPs and a gynaecologist but no one knows what it is. This is seriously affecting my life and my marriage as I can't walk any longer than 4 mins. I can't wear pants or underwear and sex only happens on very rare occasions. Please help!

    What should I do?
