    There has been conflicting evidence about Bariatric surgery and HS.

    Some studies have shown a benefit but in some severe cases (Hurley Stage 3), some participants got worse after bariatric surgery. This suggests there is no "one size fits all" approach for HS. 

    often a combination of medical surgical and lifestyle changes are needed to help control HS- with treatment tailored to you as an individual. Speak with your dermatologist.
