    55 yr female, what options do I have for conceiving a healthy child?

    I had my LH levels checked, still ovulating, regular menstruation cycle. No partner, unable to carry pregnancy because of recent physical injury. What technology exist to do egg manipulation to take out the 3th chromosome, or defects, and have fertilization occur with healthy donor. Any suggestions are most welcome.

    I am unsure of the technological legistics, but am concerned about how you will cope with an active toddler, child and adolescent during your advancing years, especially without the help and support of a partner, and possibly with parents too frail to assist. 

    The demands of sleep deprivation, lifting and carrying a child, and setting limits on behaviour are a full time commitment for the next 18-26 years.
