I went to an orthodontist for a consultation about getting braces to align my teeth. He told me that I have a recessive lower jaw and because of that even after getting orthodontic treatment, the results wouldn't be very good. He suggested that I get my lower jaw brought forward sometime in the middle of the treatment via surgery.
I have no problems with this. But the costs due to this add up, almost 25k including the orthodontic treatment.
I was hoping to know the best option for me from other professionals. Sometimes I wonder if I should even get orthodontic treatment as it may not be worth it in the end because of my jaw.
Can veneers be claimable on private health or is it classed cosmetic? I have tetracycline teeth and would like to get know if my health fund would cover some of the costs?
