I recently got results from a bone scan/spectct scan and have been diagnosed with inflammatory bilateral sacro-ilitis which my GP said is caused from my IBD and said he is unable to provide me with medication as I am allergic to aspirin and other anti-inflammatory medications.
My doctor wants me to see a rheumatologist but what treatment can I have for this condition if I am allergic to these medications?
I currently take methotrexate for my IBD and was told that that is one of the treatments but I have been using mtx for over a year know and it obviously not working on my sacroilitis what other medications can be used for this condition?
