There are number of methods to quit smoking cigarettes. Yet, the most important thing is that the person have to ‘WANT’ to quit cigarettes. If they are ready to quit the best method is using Hypnosis. There are only 2 successful ways top quit smoking. One is using your conscious mind - which is walking away and never topuch a cigaretttes again - which is ‘cold turkey’. it is onlt 7% successful as per studies. the other method is to use your subconscious mind - that is through hypnosis. which is reprogramming the mind with something healthy for you instead of a cigarette. It is greater than 95% successful.
I believe anyone can quit smoking if they really want to. No one is addicted to nicotine. when we explain why people smoke it is very easy to quit. Most people don't know why they smoke. Smoking is a habit governed by your subconscious mind. Habit can be changed with repitition.
To answer your question - yes, you can help someone to stop smoking - if they are ready to quit the habit - using hypnosis

We all want to help smokers to stop smoking, but in the end it really is up to the smoker to decide for themselves. Deciding to stop can be very powerful in itself and set in motion an entire process of how to do it.

I agree, suggesting smokers visit a STOP SMOKING Specialist is a good stating point. Hypnotherapists & Counsellors who specialise in helping people to stop smoking are your best starting place. There is research to support both approaches, but at the end of the day, research won't tell you what is best for any one individual.

Many hypnotherapists use both counselling and hypnotherapy to give you the best possible chance of success. A good and experienced therapist uses a wide range of approaches and has a depth of experience to draw on.

Good luck in trying to help this person.
