    All addictions, whether they're chemically based or behaviorally based, have some process of which they started. Cigarette addiction is one of the most difficult to break because it factors in many different elements. First, there's the element of nicotine, which the body does form a
    dependency on. That's one aspect, but there's the other ritualistic part of smoking that's just so favorable. It has a hand to mouth action, the whole process of having a fresh pack of cigarettes, and the smell of fresh tobacco and the lighting up, it all becomes very ritualistic.

    There are many ways to overcome cigarette addiction. Everyone's addiction, again, is on an individual basis, what they've experienced in their life. Part of the process of dealing with cigarette addition is looking through your past. Seeing how you started smoking. What favorable experiences you
    have from smoking, and having a really strong desire to actually want to
    quit is the other part.
