    There is no answer to this. It is not that it is a bad question but rather that medical terminology for sinus disease (and specifically the word “sinusitis”) is completely useless as there are so many types and causes of sinusitis that the answer relates to each and every one of those causes and types. So to keep things simple, if you are having ongoing symptoms not responding to medical treatment, an ENT review can start to sort things out.
