    Recovery from vasectomy

Ok I want to get a vasectomy but am concerned about whether i will need time off work to recover. My work involves lots of physical activity, stair climbing and stretching. A few days off work would be ok but anymore i would worry about lost income.

For an office based work, you can be back to work in the office the next day with firm supportive jocks, or even two pairs. If you are in and out of a truck cab or climbing gutters and scaffolding, three days off reduces the risk of bleeding and this reduces the risk of pain and infection.  For a physical job it can be great to schedule the vasectomy late in the week - thursday or Friday.  I then write a medical certificate for a couple of days, you have the weekend as well and then back to work.  The medical certificate does not say why, just "unable to work due to medical condition"

I have had one chap have sex that day to check every thing still works! most blokes will be ready for sex after 5-7days and after all that is what vasectomy is for - to improve sex with more worry free, easier sex.
