    What symptoms did you have when you found out you had pancreatitis? I was getting nausea and hot flushes, I had alot of pain yet it was tolerable. The pain was in my tummy and then I got a pain in my back on the left hand side behind my ribs. I can tell when my pancreas is struggling as I get mild versions of these symptoms and then I really watch what I eat for a few days till it subsides and then I guess my pancreas is happy again.

    This is really useful. Must be hard to distinguish it from gastro!
