I would like to understand more about the waiting, benefits, problems, pain, and anything else associated with an ankle replacement or fusion.

I have inherited osteo and psoritic arthritis form my grandmother.  In 1956 she was confined to the house or the car!.

Things have moved on since then - thank goodness, but I am awaiting eventually having an ankle replacement.

I would like to discuss the waiting, benifits, problems,pain, and anything else with others who may be in the same boat or have had and ankle replacement or fusion.

There don't seem to be that many around.
