Cardiologist (Heart Specialist)
Family history is a known risk factor for heart attacks. If you are worried, start by seeing your GP to have basic checks including your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels examined. If required, your GP may refer you for further testing such as a CT calcium score or CT coronary angiogram, or they may refer you to a cardiologist for a more detailed discussion.
