Cardiologist (Heart Specialist)
A heart murmur is a sound produced in some people’s hearts that can be heart by a stethoscope. Many heart murmurs occur in normal hearts and are called flow murmurs. Heart murmurs can also be caused by problems with the heart valves or due to a congenital problem with the heart. If your GP has heard a heart murmur, you should see a cardiologist to have it examined.
