Grief isn't a problem to be fixed, and grief counselling isn't about "moving on." It's a space to make sense of a loss — a person, a relationship, a version of your life you expected to have — without anyone rushing you through it. In sessions we work with what grief is doing to your body, your thinking, and your relationships, at your pace. Many people come to therapy months or even years after a loss, often when everyone else has stopped asking how they are. That's a completely normal time to start.
