    Yes. Separation, career change, becoming a parent, children leaving home, retirement, illness — transitions unsettle us because they change who we are, not just what we do. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Some of the most useful work happens when someone says "I should be fine, but I'm not."
