    Common symptoms include:

    Deep, aching pain at the front of the shoulder

    Pain with overhead activities or lifting

    Tenderness when pressing on the front of the shoulder

    A popping or clicking sensation in some cases

    If the tendon ruptures completely, a visible bulge (“Popeye deformity”) may appear in the upper arm, often with a sudden pop and temporary pain followed by reduced discomfort
