Generally, couples should consider seeking help if they have been trying to conceive for 12 months without success, where the female partner is under the age of 35. If the female partner is 35 years or older, it is recommended to seek advice after 6 months of trying, as age is a critical factor in fertility. Additionally, you should seek help immediately if there are known factors such as absent periods, a history of endometriosis, significant male factor issues, or previous complex reproductive surgery.
