    Insurance coverage plays a significant role in determining out-of-pocket expenses:

    • Contact your insurance provider beforehand to confirm whether the procedure is "covered." Insurance providers will ask for Medicare MBS number which are specific codes for the surgery required – please ask your surgeon which codes apply to your clinical situation.
