Signs of infection include:
1. Increased redness, warmth, swelling around the incision site.
2. Pus-like discharge from the wound.
3. Fever above 101°F (38°C) or chills unrelated to other causes.
4. Persistent pain that worsens over time rather than improving.
If any signs appear, contact your surgeon immediately for evaluation.
