    Post-surgery expectations include:

    1. You will be taken to the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where vital signs are monitored as you wake up from anaesthesia.

    2. Common side effects include drowsiness, nausea, sore throat (from intubation), muscle aches, and mild pain at the incision site.

    3. Depending on your condition and type of procedure:

    • Outpatient ("same-day") surgeries allow discharge within hours post-procedure.

    • Inpatient surgeries may require an overnight stay or longer hospitalization.
