    There are four main types of anaesthesia:

    1. General Anaesthesia: You are completely unconscious and unaware during the procedure.

    2. Regional Anaesthesia: Numbs a larger region of your body (e.g., spinal or epidural).

    3. Local Anaesthesia: Numbs only a small part of your body where the incision is made.

    4. Sedation (Monitored Anaesthesia Care): Provides varying levels of relaxation while maintaining some awareness; often combined with local anaesthesia.
