    Most women find that pain after breast surgery is generally quite minimal. Local anaesthetic is often injected around the incision sites at the time of surgery which help to minimize pain, but after it wears off, most women still do not experience much pain. Most women to find that the surgery done around the armpit region is the most sore afterwards. It is important to wear a supportive post-surgery bra after surgery which helps to support the breast and improve healing. Wearing the bra also helps to decrease pain after surgery.
