A cataract is the natural lens inside your eye that has become cloudy. The most common cause of cataracts is aging; however, they may develop for a number of reasons such as having an eye injury, diabetes, short-sightedness, previous eye conditions or surgeries, certain medications and medical conditions.

Symptoms may include blurred or dulled vision, sensitivity to light and glare, ghost images, reduced vibrancy of colours, and reduced vision in dim light. Many people are surprised how much brighter and clearer life is after they are removed!
