Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners
Previous weight loss surgery and BMI
I previously had a gastric band approx 7 years ago, which after approximately 18 months resulted in an emergency removal due to band slippage. Although I worked hard after removal with success, my weight is now becoming an issue again.
I would love to have a mini gastric bypass, would this be possible if the BMI 34.2?
Before weight loss surgery, I had high cholesterol which I'm still on medication for and I managed to reverse my sleep apnoea, however with gaining weight this will no doubt return.
