    I got my Australian Permanent Residency (Visa 189) and planning to move in couple of months. I need to know does Medicare Australia covers UC patients? And if not then how much I have to pay for my treatment.

    Public healthcare system is free at delivery in Australia as long as you have Medicare cover. This includes UC patients. 

    There is also private healthcare system that is subsidized by Medicare but there is usually a out of pocket cost.
