  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

I have been told that I have lots of 'fibres' in my ovaries. What does this mean for my fertility?

I had a dermoid and left ovary removed and told i have severe Endometriosis.

I have my second surgery to remove the endo in 5 months and will be one year since I had my last surgery.

He told me that I had lots of fibres in my right ovary… he said that this is good and relates to eggs…?

Does this relate to my fertility and is this a good thing or non relevant ?

Hello, I was told the same thing and when I questioned my doctor about it she said that its a sign of ovulation and it's perfectly normal. Hope this helps.
