I had a fall in a Supermarket…I was having terrible pain and 12 months later when I went for a 2nd MRI a Neuro found I had Syringomyelia in T1-T4…luckily it has not grown or expanded but I have complications all down the right side of my body…nerve pain and atrophy in my right leg. This was caused by a FALL ONLY…and it takes a while for Syringomyelia to form…hence it did not show in my spine after 2 weeks of having the fall. Hope the answer helps a wee bit.
