Our daughter who is 7 years old was just diagnosed with Friedreich's ataxia. So far she has demonstrated muscle weakness and vision impairment. It is possible that with age she begins to display other symptoms as well. Please give us any parenting advice/information on how to care for a child with Friedreich's ataxia.
