I have a strong passion in the field of Paediatrics with 8 years of clinical experience. I have worked internationally for the past 3 years and 8 months in Scotland and England. I have experience and recent training in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Neuro-Developmental Treatment approaches in Cerebral Palsy, Dramatherapy and Leadership skills for Allied Health Professionals.
The most important part of providing therapy to children and their families is to develop that initial rapport with your child and create a fun, individualised, creative therapy environment enabling them to achieve their full potential. I work from a client-centered model, creating parent focused goals for treatment and working alongside the most recent legislation for clinical governance and safeguarding children.
Lifespan Occupational Therapy Services provides both clinic-based and community, home and school visits. We offer an open referral system accepting referrals from any parent/carer, teacher or health professional. Therapy will be provided to any child with or without a diagnosis.
Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy), Graduated in 2004. MA certificate for Leadership skills for Allied Health Professionals, June 2011. Masters Foundation course in Dramatherapy at Roehampton University, London, November 2011.
