Charles Han is an Australian trained and accredited general urological surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques. Charles completing basic surgical training through St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne after graduating from Melbourne University. He pursued advanced urology training in Sydney and undertook fellowship training in advanced laparoscopy and minimally invasive endourology.
Charles is passionate about minimally invasive surgery in urology. He uses the latest treatment modalities, technologies and surgical techniques to deliver better functional and oncological outcomes to his patients in conjunction with faster recovery and less operative morbidity.
Charles has an extensive training and experience in laser prostate surgery, complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery for urological cancers including robotic partial nephrectomy and robotic radical prostatectomy. Charles is one of the few urological surgeons who offer the full range of laser BPH surgery including both Greenlight laser vaporisation and Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate which is suitable for large prostates.
