    Is it ok to have a Caesarean instead of a natural birth?

    I was planning natural childbirth, but I ended up having a Caesarean. I was traumatised with birth experience. My baby was delivered quickly, was handed over to midwife and I did not have chance to have skin to skin contact for an hour.

    In Australia 1:3 babies are delivered by Caesarean, and many women who wanted natural childbirth are finding it disheartening. Caesarean is often only option in emergency situation to make sure that mother and baby are well.
