Needing two hip replacements plus management of spinal canal stenosis

    Related Topic
I have been waiting for a left total hip replacement in the public system for three years, and now my right hip is bad enough to need a THR as well (after the first is done). I also have some degree of bilateral spinal canal stenosis, particularly on the left. I am wondering if I should get both my hips sorted out before I go and talk to a neurosurgeon about the spinal canal stenosis, as at the moment it is very hard to work out where the pain is from my hips vs my lumbar spine.
