My now retired GP diagnosed me with fibromyalgia but my new GP said “doctors can’t diagnose that” and she seemed quite certain it isn’t that. She sent me to get an X-ray and an ultrasound of my right shoulder (even though I have no pain there- pain is in my upper arms and lower back. Still, they found bursitis and gave me cortisone 4 days ago. It gave me relief and no pain for 3 days but I am starting to feel pain again. Isn’t cortisone meant to last longer?
Is it fibromyalgia as the pain is back?
