8 year old who may have a tic disorder

My 8 yo son seems to have a tic disorder where he rolls his eyes and jerks his head involuntarily and seems to be non-reactive. I have consulted a GP, optometrist and paediatrician. He had an EEG, MRI and contrast MRI done and is now referred to a paediatric neurologist. He is supposed to fly as an unaccompanied minor from Perth to Melb (3.5hrs) asap to visit his paternal family. Should I let him fly or wait for a conclusive diagnosis from the neurologist? I am unsure about what to do. He would fly together with his 10 yr old brother who is diagnosed with autism.
