Strained/ injured lower back from weight lifting

Back in 2017, I was training in cross fit and in one of the weightlifting sessions, I overestimated my capabilities to lift a heavy load, and so right after I did a push jerk, I could hear and feel a noticeable snap in my lower back, slightly above my spine. I assumed it was nothing at first and continued with my training. That night my lower back felt quite irritated and uncomfortable. I was experiencing a sharp pain.

After a few weeks, my back wasn't doing very well so I decided to take a break from training. After a while, I realise that my back feels pretty much normal. There's no pain at all if I stand with my back straight, however, if I bend my back forward/ backwards or stump down, I'd immediately notice that something is strained there, just slightly above the spine. It feels very rigid and somewhere between pain and discomfort.

I've been putting it off for 6 months now. Should I go see a chiropractor or physiotherapist regarding this?
