Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners
Recurring pilonidal cyst
My wife has been suffering from pilonidal cysts for more than a year now. She was admitted 4 times. 3 times they removed the sinus by cutting and draining that area. Last time they removed the infected tissue as well. Unfortunately, it is back again.
I have read that laser treatment could be a good option.
Is this something I could do? What are your suggestions for a better success rate, low recurrence and faster healing?
