Need assistance to deal with 18 year old son
My 18 year old been has been giving me a hard time for last few years. Thought it will settle down however it is getting worse. He doesn't follow any of the house rules and also uses swearing words frequently. He goes out frequently when I tried to question him, he doesn't like it and starts yelling at me. His behaviour is very rude and arrogant, he never listens to us. He spends an enormous amount of time on the phone and computer watching serials. He doesn't want to pay any expenses even though he is working, he uses our home as the hotel services - he is not organised, keeps his room dirty, doesn't clean. He thinks it is normal for him to act like this. Always talks back, doesn't have any respect also doesn't appreciate what he has. Constant arguments at home which make our life hell. He started uni this year - due to his attitude failed in three subjects not sure whether some one is triggering him to behave like this. He was fine with his studies until Year 9. Any assistance would help, wanted to help.
