Vernal keratoconjunctivitis Vs Seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis

    Related Topic
I would like to know the difference between Vernal keratoconjunctivitis vs Seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis. My son was diagnosed with VK 3 years ago, he was put on medication, these were stopped. He is currently using lubricating drops and sodium cromoglycate. They remain red, irritated, itchy and my son is teased and embarrassed by them. I feel he needs to follow up....is allergy testing worth trying? I'm concerned this could impact his vision in the future. Can his cornea become scarred from this? Thank you.
