I am having acute pain in my right upper buttocks radiating all the way to knee. I had to call emergency one night for this severe pain and the doctor did an MRI of my lumbar spine which shows mild L5/S1 disc bulging on the left side, but it's impinging any nerve. The Doctor told me that this is not the reason for my pain since the disc herniation is in the left side and all my pain is in the right hip and right leg which is contradictory. So they did an X-ray of my right hip and shows everything normal. But my pain is so severe that I can't walk, even a single step. Next morning the physiotherapist came and saw me and after examining me he told that this is musculoskeletal pain. He taped my right upper butt with some sticky tape and told me that this is going to hold and stabilise my muscle and asked me to see a physio after 4 days. After taking rest for 4 days, the pain is still there. When I'm lying in bed, I have extreme difficulty to turn on my side. The pain gets worse when I try to walk. I'm very depressed and don't know what to do.
