What are my choices instead of Lyrica for nerve ending pain, discomfort?

Been diagnosed with Myelitis. Have high B.P., cholesterol both of which are managed with medication. Two swollen discs and arthritis up my spine around the L3-5 area. For pain am on panadol osteo when needed which is often. Have numbness and pins and needles effect from waist to tips of toes on right side only with low to severe pain lower back - one of the big problems is the inflamed coccyx which feels like I have a large lump sitting there all the time and is extremely uncomfortable and at times very painful. I'm told I will have this for the rest of my life - I can deal with that if I can find something that helps better with the symptoms other than Lyrica which doesn't seem to be very effective and makes me a bit sleepy and dopier than usual! I've had this for 9 months - see an osteopath and a physio weekly - also on omega 3, asprin, calcium, COQ10. Would LOVE to find a treatment or something that will alleviate the coccyx situation and the pins and needles.
