I have a 9yr old boy with regular hypoglycemic type symptoms (according to his aunt, a nurse). He is seeing a specialist this week, but we are using a glucose monitor to check numbers. His fasting level this morning was 4.1 (no hypo symptoms) and his level before bed was 5.5 (again no symptoms). Could he still be experiencing hypoglycemia despite these normal values?
My doctor has advised that I commence regular exercise to manage my sugar levels. Would Pilates help with keeping my levels under control, or do I need to do something more intense?
