I had an MRI for headaches, dizziness & tinnitus in my left ear which has all happened in the last 3 months. Results show l have mild mastoiditis in the left side. I have not had an ear infection so l am wondering what could be the cause mm of this & what further tests can be done to find the cause. My GP says it's not normal to have this fluid. I am also wondering is it dangerous to leave this fluid in the mastoid bone without treating it. I am booked to see an ENT in a few weeks time but wanted another opinion before going to my appointment please. Thank you.
