Dr Donald is a specialist in limb reconstruction and limb lengthening. Dr Donald has established two state-wide services – the Paediatric Limb Reconstruction Service and Queensland Clubfoot Service – both at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. His skills, training and experience mean he can offer world-class treatment in paediatric orthopaedics and paediatric hip osteotomy. Dr Donald has a keen interest in the research of childhood Perthes’ Disease. He is the Principal Investigator at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane for the Zoledronic Acid in Perthes’ Disease Study, being conducted as part of an Australia-wide trial.  Dr Donald is a specialist in, and accredited provider of the Ponseti method for the treatment of Clubfoot in infants Dr Donald is actively engaged in the continuing education and supervision of medical students, junior doctors, advanced orthopaedic surgery trainees and fellows. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally and is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland.

Dr Geoff Donald is one of the leading Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons in Brisbane.

He treats predominantly Paediatric Orthopaedic patients and selected Orthopaedic conditions for adult patients in Brisbane.
