Andrew is a bayside local who has been working in the area since gaining his Masters in Osteopathy from Victoria University, Melbourne. He has always had a keen interest in the human body and what is the difference that allows some people to live pain free while others don't. In 2013 this interest led Andrew become one of only four Australian Osteopaths to complete further study in functional bio-mechanics and movement (Applied Functional Science) at the prestigious Gray Institute in the USA under world renowned therapists Gary Gray PT and Dr. David Tiberio.
Andrew now brings this approach back to bayside with Osteopathic treatment that focuses on treating the cause of his patients problems and allowing them to move without pain and achieve their goals. Through a detailed examination of how your body moves he addresses areas of dysfunction with hands on Osteopathic techniques, Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping and mobilisation using the True Stretch system. Consultations usually then focus on training your body to use it's newly achieved motion and flexibility through a personalised functional exercise program. He also applies this approach specifically to golfers and their golf swing mechanics as part of the Golf Health program at the Injury Rehab Centre.
When not practicing at Injury Rehab Centre, Andrew is usually working on his own golf swing and maintaining his own fitness. He also enjoys teaching other health and fitness professionals his unique movement approach to health with The Functional Movement Group.
